The Wheel of Life is a tool that we often use with our coaching clients. What is a Wheel of Life and how can it benefit you?
A Wheel of Life is used to assess the balance between different areas of your life. Different variants exist, but most commonly, these 8 dimensions are scored on a range of 1–10:

After graduating, I started working in tech right away. I was psyched to start working in this fast-moving industry. I had heard great stories of friends who were working and obviously playing hard in the tech sector. Due to the numerous positive stories of friends and other people about the tech sector, it was an obvious choice for me in which industry to start my career after my master’s in Business Information Management.
What all the people I spoke about working in tech didn’t say, is what I found out working for years in the tech sector. This young industry…
Many of us are familiar with the imposter syndrome. If not the name, then at least the feelings of inadequacy it designates. Where do these feelings come from? Why do we feel them, and what can we do to alleviate them?
You’ll find the answers to all these questions and more in this blog post.
Imposter syndrome is not an officially recognized psychiatric disorder. This means that there is no defined list of symptoms or proven treatments. Plus, we can’t even agree on a single cause for this issue. It’s most likely a combination of various innate and environmental factors…

We’ve all heard of it, some of us swear by meditation for increasing our mental wellbeing, others think it’s just some hippie mumbo-jumbo.

Psychologists have defined gratitude as a positive emotional response that we perceive when we…

After graduation, I immediately started working for a big corporate. We were challenged daily to boost our productivity and to lure us away from the work mentality we had while studying at university. Sometimes I heard colleagues and friends around me talking about people they know who decided to do a PhD. I thought: “They are so lucky… They just extended their studying years and can still enjoy the student life.” Nothing could be further from the truth. …
According to a Harvard Medical School article, research on the effects of expressing gratitude on wellbeing has revealed the following:
Unfortunately, a massive caveat of these studies is that no definitive causal relationship can be established between gratitude and wellbeing.
Nevertheless, numerous studies indicate that the…
We believe that the millennial generation is the generation with the highest potential. Millennials are able to accomplish great things and have already proven this time after time. Generation X and the baby boomers are benefiting daily from all the inventions made by millennials.
Though, this geniality comes at a cost. Our generation is also the one with the highest emotional sensitivity. We experience everything super intensely. The millennial generation is blessed and cursed at the same time. We can contribute significantly to society if our potential is harnessed well. Although, if our competencies and energy aren’t channelized well, we…
